Healthy Habits Start Early

Think back to your childhood... Do you find yourself eating things that you ate while a kid? Do you have the eating habits of your parents? If you really sit back and look at it, you will find that our parents have a major impact on how we eat as adults. But it's not all on them. As adults we need to make a life change on our own.
When I was a kid my father was a mild "Health Nut". He did not let me eat candy until I was about 5 or 6... Now, I'm not saying that you shouldn't let your kids eat sweets and I'm not saying that I'm holier than thou. But to this day, I don't really like Chocolate or any other sweets. So, I believe we can introduce our children to a healthy life style and they will follow this life style into adulthood. If your children See you taking care of your body, they will want to do the same. Stress the importance of great health and a longer life, rather than wanting to look like a cover model. Because I don't know about you, but I would rather be healthy as an ox without a beautiful body, than ill and beautiful. But in most cases, healthy people look healthy.
